Titanic

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Avengers: Infinity War

Jurassic World

The Lion King

Mixed reviews from critics could not keep The Lion King from becoming the highest grossing animated film of all time. The visual effects employed in the movie earned a nomination at British Film Awards and Academy Awards. A follow-up is in development with Barry Jenkins set to direct the film. 

The Avengers

Released in April 2021, Marvel’s The Avengers concluded the Phase 1 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a bang. It was the first film that saw several Marvel superheroes come together to fight world-ending threats. It became the first MCU movie to garner $1 billion in ticket sales, and is, at present, the eighth highest earning movie of all time. 

Furious 7

The seventh instalment in the uber-successful Fast & Furious franchise, Furious 7 features the final film appearance of the late actor Paul Walker, who died in a car crash in November 2013. The film collected $397.6 million during its opening weekend, which was the highest at the time. 

Frozen II

  • Year of Release: 2019

Sequel to Frozen (2013), the film was praised by everyone for its animation, voice acting, soundtrack and score. Frozen II not only reached the coveted list of the highest grossing films of all time, but also won several accolades such as two Annie Awards, and one Academy Awards nomination.
