Can you believe it’s been 20 years since RHTDM hit the theatres? Feels like it was only a few years back when we were hypnotised by the melodious title track of this iconic film. But it’s been two whole decades since the movie’s release. This made us go online to see what all other movies turned 20 this year. And our mind was blown and we are sure yours will be too. The Aamir Khan-starrer movie was nominated in the Oscars’ Foreign Language category. While it didn’t win the coveted award, it did score tons of praise from everyone.

This star-studded movie went on to become the highest grossing movie of 2001. Many dialogues and characters remain etched in the memory of movie-goers to this day.

SRK hasn’t done too many epic historical drama films. Therefore, Asoka, where the legend portrays the Mauryan king certainly stands out.

Director: Subhash Ghai

Although Yaadein didn’t receive much critical acclaim or Box Office success, we are sure you remember this movie and its melodious songs.

Cast: Sanjay Dutt, Govinda, Twinkle Khanna, Monica Bedi

Director: David Dhawan

David Dhawan has perhaps been the best comedy director in Bollywood and his Jodi No. 1 is a testament to that. The film will keep you laughing throughout.

Cast: Priyadarshan

Director: Suniel Shetty, Mahima Chaudhry

Giving David Dhawan a run for his money is Priyadarshan, who has directed movies like Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Hulchul, Hungama, and Hera Pheri. Yeh Teraa Ghar Yeh Meraa Ghar also has no shortage of hilarious scenes, much like his other better-known ventures.
